Files can be attached to calendar events, from the same places email attachments come from: a file in Files, one on disk, or one in a cloud drive or document management system. A Microsoft event carries the file itself; a Google event carries a link, so anything not already in a cloud drive or SharePoint is refused with a note to save it there first.
Approval requests for creating or updating an event list the files it will attach as chips you can add to or drop before approving, and carry Google's file-permission warning. Files already on the event are shown but cannot be removed there, and on a Google event the file picker is disabled with an explanation, since Google always rejects a local file.
Onboarding can import clients and matters from iManage workspaces, alongside the sources it already read.

Changed

Onboarding import got a pass. Double-click a folder to open it, Back and the breadcrumbs are easier to hit, selected clients and matters are listed as chips you can remove, and your picks are remembered if you step back — unchecking a client or matter that was already created deletes it.
The onboarding video preloads so it starts without buffering and moves to the next step when it ends, and the window can be dragged by its top edge to another screen.
Attachments are size-checked before they are sent — 3 MB for Microsoft, 3.75 MB for Google — so an oversized file fails with a message saying so rather than an opaque error from the provider.

Fixed

A document from a disconnected iManage or SharePoint connection now reads "Not connected", with Check out, New version, Refresh, and Check in disabled rather than offered and then failing. The Files list hides those actions for such rows.
Importing from an iManage workspace opens at the workspace's top level and drills in, instead of flattening every folder into one list. A workspace tab can be browsed but not linked to or uploaded into, since a tab holds folders rather than documents, and the picker and the error both say so now.
Onboarding import no longer requires a client. With none checked, each folder picked at the matters step becomes a matter with no client; Continue with nothing checked moves on instead of reporting "0 items created"; and a matter that failed after its client was created is retried under that client rather than dropped.
Onboarding folder and account lists load in place instead of blanking the whole screen, double-clicking Continue no longer skips a screen, Back works on the final screen, and the video's seek bar works on Windows.

Opening the time picker no longer fills an empty field with the current time.
Picking a contact in global search opens that contact from any page, not only from the contacts directory.
Long email addresses on Settings › Contacts stay on one line, with the full address on hover.
The assistant reports failures more honestly. A write that times out no longer claims nothing changed, a search that times out is no longer described as a write that might have landed, a repeated approval request says why the last attempt failed, and a refusal no longer suggests that approving again might help. An expired connection now says to reconnect it in Settings rather than to connect an account, and retrying a file creation no longer leaves a stray document behind each time.

Security

A new file's name is sanitized before it is used, so a name holding a slash or an absolute path can no longer place the file outside the case, folder, or exports directory you chose. The destination comes from the case or folder, never from the name.
